Facilitator Bill Brown

From Experience to Enterprise is a practical, two-session course designed for seasoned professionals who want to apply decades of hard-earned experience in a new, independent business or advisory role—without starting over or competing at the bottom. Rather than focusing on startups, marketing hype, or reinvention theater, the course shows participants how to translate judgment, pattern recognition, and decision-making into clear market value.

Through structured reflection, real-world validation, and disciplined positioning, participants learn how organizations actually buy experience, how to define a credible first offering, and how to convert existing relationships into paid engagements. The emphasis is on clarity, control, and sustainability—building a business that respects both professional standing and stage of life.

In Part 1, participants will be assigned homework to apply the concepts learned to their own experience, to outline a vision of their offering.

In part 2, their vision of an offering to be reviewed and receive feedback from fellow participants.  (Part Two will be on January 23, 2026)

Key Takeaways:

    • Reposition experience as value, not labor: Learn how to articulate judgment, risk reduction, and foresight in terms that buyers understand and will pay for.
    • Validate before you build: Use targeted conversations—not pitches—to confirm real demand, pricing signals, and decision-makers before committing time or money.
    • Create a sustainable path to income: Leave with a defined offering, an appropriate business model, and a concrete next step toward first revenue.
