How to Find and Get Grants for Businesses and Nonprofits

Presenter: Margit Brazda Poirier

Are you looking to diversify your revenue stream with grant funding? Grants for businesses are generally just one source of revenue in supporting small business development. They could be a great complement to a loan or other source that comes with interest rates attached, such as bank lines of credit. Yet many don’t seek out grant opportunities, mainly because they don’t know where to go. This session will focus on how to find and get grants for your business or nonprofit organization.

Three Key Learnings The Audience Will Take Away From This Program.

  1. Learn how to find grant opportunities for your organization.
  2. Understand what is required in a "typical" grant application and how you can be prepared.
  3. Discover ways to partner with businesses and/or nonprofits to leverage your resources and get grants.

Here is a short video relating to Margit's presentation, "The Power of Grants."
