Lori is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of NY. Originally from Binghamton, NY, Lori graduated with her Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. She began her public accounting career with Grant Thornton's South Florida audit practice, and later returned to NY to be closer to family. Since then Lori has worked in various firms performing financial audits, providing tax services to businesses and individuals, as well as quality control consulting to other CPA firms in preparation for peer review. Lori is currently working on becoming a certified peer reviewer with the AICPA.
Lori is a past president of the Southern Tier chapter of the NY State Society of CPAs, and just completed a term on the Board of Trustees for the NYSSCPA's Foundation for Accounting Education, and has served on various other non-profit boards over her career.
In her spare time, Lori enjoys crocheting, attending rock concerts and plays women's flat-track roller derby.
